ZeroG Unit for Inpatient Rehabilitation

By AJ Montpetit @ajmontpetit

Julie Boysen, P.T., D.P.T., shares with us the excitement in the Department of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation of acquiring a ZeroG Unit. The ZeroG is an over ground body weight support training device that allows therapists to adjust body weight unloading and fall distance for patients rehabilitation. Patients can practice walking over obstacles such as stairs and uneven terrain, practice sitting and standing tasks, and can use assistive devices.
