Mayo Clinic Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation is marking a major leap forward for its Rehabilitative Medicine Research Center (RMRC).

Following a renovation of Domitilla one at St. Marys Hospital in Rochester, RMRC has gone from being a virtual idea to reality, with offices, labs and additional space.

The open house was an opportunity for RMRC Director Christopher H. Evans, Ph.D., to talk about how far the center has come over the past year.

It also allowed the public to see some of the research underway and receive a preview of the future research the center would like to do.

RMRC features three major clinic themes: Neurological, Musculoskeletal and Medical.

The center-wide programs are: Assistive & Restorative Technology, Functional Outcomes and Regenerative Rehabilitation.

If you didn’t get a chance to attend the open house, watch the video tour below to learn more about what you missed and to hear from some of RMRC’s researchers.
